This page explains the John Stott Ministries (JSM) privacy policy and how this organization will use and protect any information that you give us when you visit this Web site.
The Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act, JSM has a legal duty to protect any information it collects from you. JSM uses leading technologies and encryption software to safeguard your data, and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorized access to it. JSM will never pass on your details to any third party unless you give permission to do so.
What information do we collect?
JSM collects three kinds of information from visitors to the JSM Web sites: feedback (through visitors emailing us); credit card and other details from visitors making donations to the ministry; and email addressees from people who sign up to receive electronic mailings.

JSM welcomes your feedback.
If you send an email or letter asking for information, JSM may need to contact other organizations to find that information.
JSM does not pass on any of your personal information when dealing with your inquiry, unless you have given us permission to do so. Once we have replied to you, we may keep a record of your message for reference and audit purposes.
Site Usage Information
Cookies
Cookies are pieces of data that are often created when a visitor logs on to a Web site, and which are stored in the cookie directory of your computer. The JSM Web sites do not create any cookies.
Log files
Log files allows JSM to record visitors’ use of the site. No one other than JSM's Communications Team has access to this information, and this data is never shared with external organisations. JSM uses this information to analyze how popular certain sections of the Web site are with visitors. Log files do not contain any personal information and they are not used to identify any individual patterns of use of the site.
What happens when I link to another site?
JSM does not pass on any personal information to any other site. This Web site contains links to other Web sites, both of Christian NGOs and of other organizations. This privacy policy applies only to the JSM site, so you should always be aware when you are logging on to another site and read the privacy statement of any site.
Changes to this privacy policy
If this privacy policy changes in any way, JSM will place an updated version on this page. Regularly reviewing of this page ensures you are always aware of what information JSM collects, how JSM uses it and under what circumstances, if any, JSM will share it with other parties.
