Christopher Wright is the International Director of Langham Partnership International (John Stott Ministries in the US), inheriting founder John Stott’s vision and passion for churches in the Majority World to be richly fed with effective and well-resourced preaching of the Bible as God’s Word. He is a noted Old Testament scholar and author of many books, most recently, the highly acclaimed Mission of God: Unlocking the Bible’s Grand Narrative and The God I Don’t Understand: Reflections on Tough Questions of Faith. He also serves as chair of
the Lausanne Committee’s Theology Working Group and chair of the Theological Resource Panel of TEAR Fund, a leading Christian relief and development charity. His new book, The Mission of God’s People (Zondervan), is due for release in September 2010.

Mark Labberton is Fuller Seminary’s Lloyd John Ogilvie associate professor of Preaching and director of the Lloyd John Ogilvie Institute of Preaching. Formerly the longtime senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, Labberton is also the author of The Dangerous Act of Worship: Living God’s Call to Justice (IVP). Labberton currently serves as a board member for John Stott Ministries.
