Chee Chiew’s atheistic family distained Christians, thus she constantly ridiculed Christian classmates. Their love in return impressed her deeply. At sixteen, Chee Chiew’s quest for life’s meaning opened her to the challenge by a Christian teacher to read the Bible to find errors. Several months later she found herself on her knees, giving her life to the One she had previously distained. The call to serve God in full-time ministry came after a couple successful years in business. Her part-time teaching job at SBC grew into a full-time vision, and she was invited in 1999 to be part of their staff development plan.
Chee Chiew not only teaches at Singapore Bible College, but has further plans to develop a contextualized curriculum for the theological education needs throughout China. She also is preparing to write academic literature on Biblical studies in Chinese.
